❓ How can I schedule an appointment?

Would you like to schedule an appointment? It's very simple:

• Visit our website and click on the 'Book your appointment to play the game' button.

❓Is there an age limit for participation?

Yes! The game is intended for individuals over 18 years old.

❓Can only individuals from the Department of Informatics participate?

No! The game is open to all students of the Ionian University who reside on the island of Corfu. Additionally, instructors from the respective departments as well as individuals outside the university can participate.

❓What is the total duration of the game?

The game lasts at least one (1) hour, but there may be a short wait before each game starts, around a quarter (15 minutes).

❓Is there a maximum allowed limit of players per appointment?

No. There is only a fixed number of players per team, which is set at three (3) individuals. Therefore, you must schedule an appointment for 3 people. unless If you wish, you can book individually, and we will find two other individual players to join you.

❓Does someone need to bring computing devices with them?

No! Players who attend do not need to bring any computing devices with them. The meetings will take place in one of the computer labs of the Department of Informatics of the Ionian University, and the staff will provide you with computers to play.

❓It's my first time playing an escape room game. Is there anything I should know?

No. You don't need to have any prior knowledge to participate in the game. Guiding instructions will be provided by the game designers before the start of each game.

❓What is an Escape Room game?

An escape room is a live 60-minute game. You and your team will enter a themed room with a unique mission where you will work together to discover tools and knowledge and overcome challenges to complete your mission.

❓Can we bring food or drinks with us?

No! According to the operating regulations of the computer labs of the Department of Informatics, the consumption of food and drinks inside the labs is explicitly prohibited.

❓How early should we arrive for the game?

You should arrive at least fifteen (15) minutes before your scheduled appointment.

❓Is the game free?

Yes! The game, as well as your participation in it, is completely free.

❓Will we be able to take photos with the creators?

It will be our pleasure to take photos with you after you complete your challenge!

❓Do I really need to schedule an appointment to participate?

Yes. It is of utmost importance to have booked an appointment with us so that we can control how many players we will have on the day, and in case of cancellation of your appointment, we can be informed immediately.

❓Something serious came up last minute, and I don't have time to cancel the
appointment? What can I do to inform in time?
